  • NURSERY- Jill Donlin

My position is taking care of the nursery. This is a fun safe place for children ages newborn to two years old.  The nursery is equipped with a crib, port-a-crib, stroller, rocking chairs, dressing table, puzzles, books, music, and lots of toys.  The nursery is open before worship (Service at 10:15) and continues until after worship service ends.  We have a sign in sheet for parents/grandparents to sign your child in and leave your cell phone number for emergencies.  Our nursery is staffed with qualified women wanting to take wonderful care of your child.  I have several helpers and we love on the kids and play with them for the entire time of the worship service.  The other classroom is for three year olds on up and those children go to class after communion.

  • Junior Church - Donna Strickland

My position is taking care of the young children attending our church.  Our goal is to give the children of our church and visiting children a place to play together while learning stories from the bible.  The children are released from the service just before Pastor Tom's sermon.  We have several adults staffing our junior class room.  We have toys, games, books and much more to entertain along with activities and reading time making it fun for all.

  • Christian Education - jONCE Strickland

If you spend any time around our church at all, you'll quickly learn one thing: we love our church family and our community. We truly believe that helping with the needs of our church members and our community by sharing in our faith and human compassion makes the whole world a better place.  That's why Christian education is such a huge part of what we do at our church. We want to guide people in developing a personal faith in Christ as they step into their specific roles in the story.  We want to reach out to those of any age who are looking for Christ. He's writing with all of our lives. We work hard to create environments that engage all in good conversation about God, encouraging them to ask questions, search out answers, and truly learn to listen to His leading in their lives.

  • Missions - Tom Densmore

The role of the missions committee is to educate, inform, and motivate the congregation about mission outreach and their part in it. The committee evaluates mission projects and then reports their finding to the congregation on the entity and the benefits of its outreach.  We then welcome visits from these missions to discuss what they do and the results of their efforts.

  • Fellowship - Debbie Smith

In my ministry for FCCI as fellowship leader, I along with a group of faithful volunteers prepare  Wednesday night suppers from September thru May. Members of the congregation, their families, friends, neighbors and visitors come for supper and fellowship before bible study. We also prepare and serve meals for special occasions during the year such as funerals, church picnics, Easter breakfasts and such.
